Good people, good service and a beautiful location! - Larry B
A stay at the ranch was beyond expectations. We booked both cottages for a family weekend celebration and were treated royally. Terri and Marvin were wonderful hosts.Breakfasts were included and we decided to book a special dinner for the Saturday night and we were not disappointed; the food was wonderful and service was exceptional as each of the 3 courses were served to your cottage (same with breakfast) and dishes were removed, you didn’t have to lift a finger.If I ever win the lotto, I’m hiring Terri as my personal chef.Cottages are well laid out with no expense spared and both have wood burning fireplaces. Imagine sitting by the fire with a glass of wine, looking out of the window to horses grazing in the field in front of you, overlooking Eagle lake towards the mountains. Now that’s what I call relaxation.
My better half and I spent my birthday weekend at the Rocking R Guest Ranch. Absolutely loved it.
Kara is an excellent host. Checkin was smooth despite the frigid cold.
The Bunkhouse, where we stayed, is quaint and cozy and well equipped. My favourite feature is the wood stove which we had going most of our two day stay.
The breakfast, delivered to our cabin every morning was delicious. Eggs Benny and French toast. And always with a smile from Kara.
The views from the ranch are extraordinary and our last night we had the best sunset we have seen in a long time.
The ranch offers extras including massages, which we took in, and sleigh rides (too cold) to name two.
We loved it so much we have already reserved my next birthday weekend.
This was our second time staying at this beautiful and peaceful retreat. Private accommodation, serene atmosphere, and friendly hosts. Even though we had temps in the -20's, we still found enough things to enjoy our time there. Highly recommended a snowshoe hike around the property. We will be back again!
